Well, we have a site for you.  The USportsNetwork is looking for bloggers to take over several of our sites and turn them into THE top resources on the web.  Read on.

What you do?

• Blog and treat the site like it’s your own.  We want a knowledgeable, passionate fan to take over this site and write from his/her heart about the team they love.  Cover the games, trades, moves, practices, whatever you want in any style you want.  Content much be unique and original.
• Promote the site via Twitter and/or Facebook pages.  Running a site like this will immediately get you on some of the leading media peoples Twitter and Facebook accounts.  You will find that real diologue will occur and people will begin to look towards you as a TOP resource!  We have the Facebook and Twitter accounts already started!
• Spread the word to other sites about your site.

That’s it.  Basically just be a blogger and cover the team you love.

What do you get?

So I know what you are thinking.  What’s in it for me?  Well, besides the obvious perks of becoming a powerhouse authority expert on your team, here is what else USN partners get as they grow their sites.

• 50% of all Adsense revenue created for duration of partnership.  You will see that your site has 3 or so spots where ads are placed.  As traffic and content grows, these ads will be clicked creating revenue.  That revenue will be split with you 50/50 at the end of each month.  Keep your expectations low for the first few months but as content and traffic grows we have seen sites make over $100 a month from just Adsense.
• USN Incentives.  USportsNetwork has set up certain incentives for their partner bloggers.
  1) Make 10+ posts per month for 6 straight months = Get a free team tshirt or hat.
  2) Make 10+ posts per month for 12 straight months = Get 2 free tickets to your teams home game.
  3) Reach 1000 Facebook Fans = Get a free team tshirt or hat.
• Possible insider ticket and promotional opportunities.  We have had USN bloggers get media passes (credentials) to the MLB All-Star game in the past.  We have also got offered free tickets for several of our sites on occasion and the partner/blogger decides what is done with those.
• The chance to work closely with our website experts and possibly learn a thing or two about websites.
• Again, I’ve said this before, but the opportunity to be a blogger about something you are passionate for on a professional network website and get lots of exposure for yourself.

Other FAQ’s

1. How much do you expect me to post if I take this role?  This is entirely up to you and how good you want the site to be.  We expect a minimum of 1 post per week to keep the partnership alive.  But most good blogs/sites have daily or every other day posts that keep fans coming back for more.
2. How long should posts be?  We encourage posts to be a minimum of 200 words and they can be as long as you’d like.  Average post length is 300-500 words I’d guess.
3. Do I have to create the Twitter/Facebook pages?  No.  We have already setup the Twitter and Facebook accounts and will get you the account info to start using.
4. Is it hard to create a post?  Absolutely not.  We use Wordpress as the blogging platform and it takes just minutes to figure out how to post.  If you can read and write – you can blog for USN.
5. Can I follow how much Adsense revenue has been created?  Yes.  We will give you daily reports via email that share how much earnings the site has generated.
6. Will I get rich off this?  No.  If you are in this to solely MAKE MONEY.  We don’t want you.  If you are in this to create the best team site around – MONEY will come automatically and has potential of being huge.
7. Will I have help?  Our USN team will help you with anything you need related to the website.  We are also setting up USN Help forums for other webmasters to share their tips.  You are more than welcome to recruit other writers and form your own team of bloggers to help you.  This makes the site even more successful!
